There is something about a summer wedding that simply can't be replicated.

Not because of the weather (although a bluebird day certainly doesn't hurt), but because summer invites us to slow down. To linger over dinner a little longer. To gather outside with the people we love. To celebrate without rushing.

That feeling became the inspiration behind Monday's styled shoot at The 44 Venue.

We wanted to create something that felt less like a perfectly curated Pinterest board and more like a wedding day you could actually imagine yourself living. Effortless. Joyful. Intentional. A little playful. The kind of celebration where fresh citrus is scattered across the tables, the invitations hint at what's to come, and guests end the evening with full hearts and sun-kissed cheeks.

Instead of chasing trends, we leaned into timelessness.

Soft florals in buttery yellows, peaches, blush pinks, and delicate blue blooms brought so much life to the day. The invitation suite felt like opening the first page of a beautiful love story. Vintage details mixed with modern fashion reminded me that the most memorable weddings don't fit neatly into one style—they simply reflect the couple.

Every time I see one of our dresses outside the boutique, I'm reminded why I started this journey. A dress is never just a dress. It becomes part of someone's story. It will be there during the first look, the vows, the first dance, and years from now when someone pulls their wedding album off the shelf.

Helping brides find that dress will never stop being magical to me.

And then there was the picnic. Simple. Romantic. Uncomplicated.

A woven basket, beautiful food, fresh flowers, a quiet moment beside the water. It felt like permission to remember that your wedding day isn't about checking off a timeline—it's about creating moments where you can simply be together. Those often become the memories couples treasure most.

That's exactly what I hope couples take away from this shoot.

This shoot was also a beautiful reminder of what happens when creative people come together with a shared vision. Every detail, from the florals to the stationery, hair, makeup, fashion, and incredible food, reflected the passion of local businesses who love celebrating love stories just as much as I do.
